Compatibility starts with the complete interface

A matching thread name alone does not define a replacement nozzle. Include the thread diameter and pitch, engagement length, overall length, seating surface, inlet geometry, and orifice location. Identify the hot end version and any modifications as well as the printer model.

For a new design, send the mating-part drawing and mark the dimensions that control fit. For a replacement, include the current part number and drawing if available. Standard-model compatibility and custom supply must be confirmed for the specific request.

What to specify for a carbide nozzle

Evaluate wear and print performance together

If you are changing nozzle material, describe the problem you are solving: orifice growth, inconsistent extrusion, surface finish, frequent replacement, or another measured issue. Include the current nozzle material and the filament used when the problem occurs.

A useful sample evaluation records those conditions and defines an acceptance limit before testing. Material hardness alone cannot establish printer compatibility, a safe operating temperature, or the service life of a specific nozzle.

Provide sample and production quantities separately, including each size or design variant. Identify your required evaluation date and delivery destination. MOQ, sample availability, pricing, and lead time will need confirmation.
